Ensemble - winners of the DCBS Festival Competition -- they take the blues, some R&B, and add a bit of a swing jazz
finesse for a foot-stomping, blues-based dance show!

DCBS brings you one of the area’s hottest, funkiest, most entertaining bands to grow out of the local blues scene!

Memphis Gold - deep Memphis blues -- currently featured on the cover of Living Blues Magazine, America's oldest and most authoritative blues magazine.

- The Silver Spring Town Center, Inc, in partnership with the DC Blues Society, Three Keys Music, Montgomery College, the Silver Spring Voice, the Silver Spring
Penguin, PFA Silver Spring LLC, and the Silver Spring Regional Services Center presents an afternoon of blues music
by some of the area's most popular bands.
- The free one-day event will feature international and regional blues stars playing acoustic and electric blues.
Among the festival activities will be crafts, face painting, magicians, clowns, and a musical petting zoo.
- Silver Spring
acoustic blues guitarist, Jonny Grave, will perform on the stage near the Silver Fountain on Ellsworth Drive along
with Three Chords and the Truth, an exciting youth blues band.
- The exciting electric
blues line up includes international blues sensation "Memphis Gold," the DC Blues Society Band, and the
Capital Blues Ensemble, winners of the 2009 DCBS Festival Audition competition.
